One minor part of today’s EA Play 2018 showcase was a tease from Respawn Entertainment with details about the Star Wars game they’ve been working on – we know now the title of it, Jedi: Fallen Order.

Beyond that, further information is scarce. The game will take place between Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, in “the dark times” when the Jedi are being hunted.

Currently targeted for a holiday 2019 release, nothing else was discussed about the game, except confirming that it’s “not a nice time – it’s a dark time”. Sounds interesting to us, and also sounds like a ripe opportunity to explore an era in Star Wars history that could definitely use development.
