EA Games hints at Mass Effect remasters

Throughout the last two gaming generations, remasters have become very popular. Not only have they allowed fans to relive classic games, but they potentially exposed the series to gamers who may have missed them the first time around. And now EA Games might be jumping on the bandwagon with remasters of the Mass Effect games.

Speaking to Game Informer, EA Games Executive Vice President, Patrick Soderlund was asked if the company would be releasing any remasters in the future, with the Mass Effect trilogy being name dropped as a possible contender.

“… there is proof in the market that people want it,” Soderlund stated. “… The honest answer is that we are absolutely actively looking at it. I can’t announce anything today, but you can expect us most likely to follow our fellow partners in Activision and other companies that have done this successfully.”
