E3 2021: Starfield gets first teasers, releases on 11 November 2022 on Xbox and PC

June 15, 2021

Bethesda fans have been waiting years for their first peek at Starfield, the company’s spacebound sci-fi property that was first announced in 2018. Finally, thanks to the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase at E3, we have that first look, in the form of a teaser that gives us a taste of the setting and feel of the game.

Xbox & Bethesda also confirmed the game will be arriving on Xbox Series X/S and PC on November 11, 2022 – and it’ll be available day one on Xbox Game Pass. It’s a pretty significant exclusive for Microsoft’s consoles, one that they obviously had in mind when they acquired Bethesda in March.

The official synopsis reads:
Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery. Fans can join Constellation now and be among the first to receive news and updates on Starfield, including developer interviews and behind-the-scenes looks at the game.
