E3 2018: Super Mario Party Brings New 4-Player Mayhem to Switch

A new instalment in the Mario Party series was announced at Nintendo’s E3 Direct presentation this morning, Super Mario Party for Nintendo Switch.

A 4-player game, with each player using a single Joycon to play, Super Mario Party will also need two Nintendo Switch consoles to reach its full potential, as players can use them in unique ways. One demo showed a party of four players lining up two Switch screens flat on a table, in order to precisely manoeuvre tanks from one to the other. In another demo, Switch consoles in tabletop mode were placed back to back, with groups of 2 facing off against each other.

Super Mario Party is comingon 5 October this year.
