E3 2018: Prey and Wolfenstein come to VR

June 11, 2018

One of the smaller announcements from Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference today will nonetheless peak the interests of VR enthusiasts who enjoyed their past forays like Fallout 4 VR, Doom VFR and Skyrim VR.

The newly announced asymmetric-multiplayer mode for Prey called ‘Typhon Hunt’ will be playable in VR, which pits humans against mimics, who can disguise themselves as household objects.

Wolfenstein is also coming to VR with a unique title, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, where the player assumes the role of a hacker who can take control of Nazi robots. It’s the latest in a line of games that Bethesda claim is their “‘neverending quest to bring the message of ‘F*** Nazis’ to every platform possible.”

There’s no word yet on which platforms these games will be available, but both will be on show at E3 this year, where hopefully more details will come forward.
