E3 2018: Konami announce Hyper Sports R for Switch

Konami has announced Hyper Sports R is in development exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

The game is a successor to Hyper Sports, which was released in arcades in 1984. Described as a “sports simulation title”, the game will let players choose from 20+ characters and train them to compete in sports such as track and field, beach volleyball and swimming. There will be a Quick Play mode which supports up to four player multiplayer, as well as a fully fledged single-player campaign. Both motion controls and classic controls will be supported.
