E3 2017: Kirby Floats His Way Onto Nintendo Switch

Were you as disappointed as myself when Nintendo only announced a few smaller digital titles as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations for Kirby? Well, Nintendo obviously heard us, because they revealed a brand new Kirby game for Nintendo Switch during the E3 2017 showcase.

The trailer shows Kirby going through traditional 2D levels with 3D graphics, but also showcased a brand new mechanic never before seen in a Kirby game. As well as being able to absorb enemies to steal their powers, Kirby can now recruit enemies to fight on his side during levels.

Kirby will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch some time in 2018.
