E3 2017: Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Announced at Bethesda Press Conference

June 12, 2017

One of the few unexpected announcements at Bethesda’s E3 2017 press conference was a brand new Dishonored game. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider looks to be similar to Dishonored 2 in that you will play as two infamous Dishonored characters Billie Lurk and Daud, leaders of the Whalers, the assassin group that played a heavy role in the original Dishonored game. Daud was also the character you played as in the two Dishonored DLC packs: The Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches.

The trailer shows Billie breaking Daud out of where he is being held hostage, and Daud suggesting that they take out The Outsider once and for all. The Outsider is a supernatural being that has come from another dimension, and is considered to be the source of all of the magic.

Check out the Dishonored: Death of the Outsider official E3 2017 Bethesda press conference announcement gameplay trailer below:

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will launch on the 15th of September, 2017 on Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will also most likely be a Play Anywhere title for Xbox One and Windows PC, like its predecessor Dishonored 2.

We will hopefully get a chance to go hands-on with Dishonored: Death of the Outsider at the Bethesda booth at E3 2017 over the coming days, so check back at Rocket Chainsaw for all the latest E3 2017 news.
