June 13, 2017

Welcome to a world without light. At the E3 2017 Playstation press conference, we were lucky enough to have two minutes of the upcoming Destiny 2 squeezed in to their presentation. It was also announced that PlayStation 4 fans will receive an exclusive strike, as well as exclusive in-game items.

Pre-ordering Destiny 2 will also grant open beta early access, with PS4 owners beginning on July 18, Xbox One owners beginning on July 19, while those that don’t pre-order will be able to play the beta from July 21 until its conclusion on July 23. There will also be a PC open beta in August, but the exact dates for this have not yet been confirmed by Bungie.

The trailer, titled “Our Darkest Hour” explains the story of Destiny 2: the Red Legion’s brutal attack on humanity’s Last City has left Guardians powerless and scattered. Now, in our darkest hour, new legends must rise to challenge Ghaul and take back our Light.
