June 12, 2017

Bethesda today announced two new DLC packs coming to its MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. The first DLC pack titled Horns of the Reach will include two new dungeons “Bloodroot Forge” and Falkreath Hold”, as well as new weapons and armor to gain from the dungeons, and achievements too.

At the time of its release in August there will also be a free base game update which will include new homes, a new battleground, a new game mode for the battlegrounds, a scheduled holiday event, and new crown crates.

The second DLC pack titled Clockwork City partially remains a mystery, and all we can offer is the four screenshots below. Whatever this DLC pack will offer, the environment already looks incredibly detailed. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer to explore the Clockwork City.

Bethesda also announced that the amount of players that have experienced The Elder Scrolls Online since its release has risen in the past few months from 8.5 million to the 10 million milestone, showing a steady increase of interest thanks to the recent Morrowind expansion. We reviewed Morrowind giving it 4.5/5 stars, and saying it “adds many more hours of gameplay, a wealth of new lore and some of the best nostalgic gaming recollections imaginable“.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited and the Morrowind expansion are available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
