E3 2017: Anthem Gameplay Revealed

June 12, 2017

True to their word, EA have revealed the gameplay for Bioware’s newest IP Anthem during this morning Xbox E3 2017 press conference, giving you an idea of just what you can expect from the game.

Early rumours stated that Bioware were working on a Destiny-styled co-op game for you to play with your friends and the gameplay reveal trailer for Anthem certainly backs up those rumours. Anthem has you choose between different classes of Javelin, robotic exosuits similar to Iron Man’s, and take part in missions and exploring the open world with up to 3 friends. Each Javelin comes equipped with unique weapons and abilities for you to master, but all come with the ability to fly.

The world and characters in the trailer look absolutely amazing, blowing away anything Bioware have released before and making Mass Effect Andromeda look like a joke in comparison. If Anthem looks anywhere near as good on release, this will be up there with the best looking games of all time.

Anthem will release in the Australian Spring of 2018, for PC via Origin, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
