Dishonored 2 Update

Arkane Studios today revealed they are working as fast as they can on releasing the Dishonored 2 PC update to fix issues that players have been widely complaining about. There have been reports of inconsistent frame-rate issues, buggy mouse performance, as well as audio and physics issues. Bethesda and Arkane Studios have been quick to jump on the reports though, and here’s their official word:

[toggle_box title=”Dishonored 2 PC Update Details:” width=”Width of toggle box”]We have been monitoring the PC forums and social channels and while we’re excited to hear that many of you are enjoying the game, we are disheartened that some of you are experiencing PC performance issues on some systems.

We are actively working to provide an update to address your concerns. The patch and its release notes will be available in the coming days.

With the feedback our support group has received, we are preparing a patch intended to provide improvements to allow for more consistent frame-rates on affected systems and provide an update to the mouse code for smoother input.[/toggle_box]

Dishonored 2 PC reviews on Steam appear to be mostly mixed, with many players complaining about the same issues that are being addressed. Hopefully the Dishonored 2 PC update getting released later this week will fix the major frame-rate issues and allow players to enjoy the game the way Arkane Studios intended.

Stay tuned for Rocket Chainsaw’s Dishonored 2 PC review in the next coming days.
