It’s almost time for the DiRT 5 launch and so today Codemasters has released the official DiRT 5 Launch Trailer showing you how you’ll shred tires, wreck suspension and lose a panel or two as you race around the world.
The trailer shows the various vehicles and game modes that are available in DiRT 5 including the new Playgrounds mode giving you the ability to create your very own arena which you can then publish online and share with friends and strangers alike.
Rocket Chainsaw is busy racing away on the dirty roads ahead of the DiRT 5 launch to bring you an in-depth review, so stay tuned for more before the game’s launch next week.

DIRT 5 delivers breath-taking wheel-to-wheel pack racing on multiple surfaces including rugged terrain, harsh desert sands, snow, ice, tarmac, and more. Weather conditions change in a heartbeat, cars flip and crash as the action heats up, and players must keep their wits about them to stay in the race. With a variety of game modes including Career, Arcade, Time Trial and Multiplayer games, DIRT 5 is an adrenaline rush from start to finish. DIRT 5 also introduces split-screen which can be played offline in co-op and competitive modes for up to four players.
For those who crave variety, the trailer ends on the new Playgrounds feature. Create, share and discover custom arenas across three event types; Gate Crasher, Smash Attack and Gymkhana. All published Playgrounds are hosted online with a global leaderboard, allowing players around the world to upload an arena and post their best score.
In related news, the DiRT 5 Official Soundtrack album officially launches today across all major digital music platforms, featuring global icons such as The Killers, The Chemical Brothers, and more in this 18-track album set to the theme of off-road racing. DIRT 5 will release on November 6th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with a 3 day early access period for purchasers of the Amplitude Edition. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will release in late 2020, while the game will also release on Stadia in 2021. For more information, head to the official website.
