Here’s The First Look at Dirt 5 Gameplay

CODEMASTERS is amping up their coverage for the final racing game of this generation, and today we have a first look at official DiRT 5 gameplay featuring the a truck race that gives us massive DiRT 2 vibes.

The trailer shows two minutes of Stampede Time Trial action and stresses that the gameplay is still a work in progress, which is great because the engine sounds don’t quite match the vehicle, and it sounds like there are way more spectators than we can see on-screen (reminding us of real world sport right now)!

Rocket Chainsaw has been following the development of DiRT 5 closely, most recently with its official features trailer which you can check out here.

In this latest, work-in-progress DIRT 5 gameplay, get a first look at a Stampede track in action, based in between the iconic Arizona buttes!

Hard, unforgiving natural landscapes, built for rough-and-ready machines, Stampede circuits are tough, to say the least. Up to 12 cars will be able to compete in these extreme events.

Taking on the rough terrain in the Jimco Unlimited Truck, the new gameplay also shows DIRT 5’s dynamic weather system at work, with an incoming lightning storm transforming the terrain and skyline.

DiRT 5 will launch on October 9th on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles while arriving later in 2020 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. For more info, head to the official DiRT website.
