Detroit: Become Human joins PS Plus July 2019 lineup, Pro Evo Soccer 2019 misses out

Last week we reported that July 2019’s PS Plus freebies would be Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo. Sony has made a last minute change to the lineup however, swapping out Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 for Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe¬†Edition. A reason for the last minute change has not been provided.

Detroit: Become Human was released in 2018 and developed by Quantic Dream. Much like their other titles, Detroit is often consider as a narrative adventure. The plot follows the separate stories of three androids as they encounter racism and become self aware. You can check out Adam’s review by clicking here.

Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition also includes a digital copy of the Heavy Rain remaster for PS4. In that game there is a serial killer on the loose, dubbed the Origami Killer. Players assume the role of multiple characters who are investigating the Origami Killer, including a man named Ethan who’s son has been kidnapped. Their tales entwine with each other in what is considered as one of Quantic Dream’s finest works.
