After months of speculation, including confirmation of its existence from Activisions own financial results, Bungie have finally confirmed that Destiny 2 is coming via their official twitter account.

While not many details are yet known, the initial reveal image showed the last city on earth on fire, seemingly from alien attacks, and a teaser trailer was revealed today focusing on Cayde-6 as a battle for Earth rages around him. The Cabal are front and centre in the trailer, implying that we may be seeing a larger focus on them in Destiny 2.

Bungie have also confirmed that a reveal trailer will be released at 4:00am AEDT on March 31st, so stay tuned to find out more about Destiny 2 then.
