Destiny 2 Lost Sectors Explained in New Trailer

September 5, 2017

Another day, another brief Destiny 2 trailer uploaded to the official PlayStation YouTube Channel. Today’s trailer features the Destiny 2 Lost Sectors, which can be found while free-roaming the various open world zones of the game.

The Destiny 2 Lost Sectors allow you to earn some unique loot in singleplayer (or with friends) which may even be equivalent to loot earned in Strikes. When you clear out the Lost Sector which usually includes a boss at the end, you’re rewarded with a loot crate.

It’s unknown at this stage whether the lost sectors will be worth returning to at end-game, however we wouldn’t put it past Bungie to ensure there’s some sort of harder end-game singleplayer content for us to enjoy in Destiny 2 as they have continually stated that the game will expand on everything the original Destiny set out to achieve.

Destiny 2 launches on September 6, 2017 (tomorrow) on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while Windows PC players will wait until October 25.
