Destiny 2 Finally Appears on Blizzard App

August 18, 2017

With a little more than two weeks to go until Destiny 2 launches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, PC fans who already pre-ordered the game whether via a graphics card promotion or other means were left in the dark with the game appearing in their Battle.net account page but not on the Blizzard App. PC fans should worry no more.

As of today, the game is now officially listed under a new sub-heading “Activision”, the game’s publishers. The game is only on display and definitely not able to be downloaded just yet, however with the beta less than two weeks away, we will presumably be able to download the game in the coming week.

Destiny 2 Blizzard App

Blizzard and Activision had somewhat of a merge back in 2008, and although it’s taken a while the new Blizzard App seems to be the way forward for their Windows PC department.

Rocket Chainsaw covered many of Destiny 2’s new features including its new destinations, adventures and other activities in a reveal and detail article which you can read here.

Make sure to check back at Rocket Chainsaw for all the latest on Destiny 2, including when the PC beta is available for download, and we’ll also have all the latest news covering the launch of Destiny 2 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6, 2017.

Destiny 2 launches on Windows PC on October 24, 2017. For more information, head to the official Destiny website here.
