Australian cancer charity Cure Cancer is launching an initiative this December, to call on Aussie streamers to unite to raise money for cancer research. The ‘Game On Cancer Holiday Spectacular’ initiative will run from 1 December – 25 December, and aims to raise $100k over the period.

Aussie streamers can sign up on Tiltify to get involved, and then host a charity stream on their channels to raise money from their audience. Streamers can earn XP points for every dollar raised to exchange for exclusive Game On Cancer merch via the initiative.

Already involved is streamer PandaTV, who too a pre-release look at Magic The Gathering: Crimson Vow, and Back Pocket has also been signed as ambassadors for the campaign.

To date, the Game On Cancer initiative with Cure Cancer has raised $350k for Cancer Research, enough to fund 4,666 hours of research. To learn more about the campaign, check out their official website.
