Crash Bandicoot 4 To Be Revealed Tonight

June 22, 2020

Rumours and leaks have abounded over the last week regarding a Crash Bandicoot 4. We had ratings leaks in Taiwan and screenshots of a trailer purported to be the game that appeared on 4chan (both of which we covered yesterday), yet it now seems that the game has been officially confirmed, if not revealed. Geoff Keighley has the scoop, with an email going out to Summer Games Fest subscribers revealing the game would be shown off tomorrow.

We don’t know what form the reveal will take yet, but if Keighley’s reveal of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is anything to go by, we can probably expect a decent trailer and maybe even a small developer interview. With leaks revealing the game’s title as Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, we expect the game to have a focus on time travel. Following on from the dimension hopping nature of Crash Bandicoot Warped, it certainly isn’t outside of the realm of possibility.
Crash Bandicoot 4 will be officially revealed at 1AM AEST tomorrow at the The Game Awards YouTube Channel. If you’re not too keen on getting up at 1AM, stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw where we’ll have all of the latest news to come from the reveal!
