Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is Out Now!

November 13, 2020

We’re now in the post-next-gen launch window and just one day after the PlayStation 5 hit the shelves (if you were lucky enough to secure a pre-order), we’re now busy playing the first post-launch game, as Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out now!

The much-anticipated return of the Black Ops franchise sees the Call of Duty franchise visit an era that is rarely explored in video games: part of the Cold War during the early 1980’s between the United States and the Soviet Union.

With a single-player campaign, an extensive multiplayer mode and the return of Zombies Mode, the latest Call of Duty game has something for everyone, and launches across all major platforms except for the Nintendo Switch.

Treyarch has also kindly provided us with a bunch of Black Ops Cold War screenshots to get us in the mood for some CoD action! Check them out below.

With crossplay available and cross-progression features, as well as a new progression system tied between Multiplayer and Zombies, players can compete with their friends while earning the prestigious title of Prestige Master each Season, no matter which platform they play on.

Black Ops Cold War is scheduled to have live seasons post-launch featuring a load of new post-release content coming free for all players on all platforms simultaneously. These live seasons will also further the evolution of Warzone, which now features Operators from Black Ops Cold War.
