Final round of Closed Beta approaches for World of Warships: Legends

As World of Warships: Legends hones in on its long-awaited release on home consoles, a final round of Closed Beta testing has been announced for this weekend, for any players looking for a sneak peek at what they can expect from the high seas.

From 22 March until 24 March, World of Warships: Legends will open up for a Closed Beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, allowing players to register at wowslegends.com . The latest build of the game includes new content, including 14 new ships, revamped lighting effects, the inclusion of the British nation and multilingual support for Russian and French.

Players who take part in the Closed Beta will gain access to some special rewards when the game does launch, including in-game premium currency, boosters and customisation items. After the Closed Beta, Wargaming will look ahead to Early Access with a range of Founders Packs with different tiers of content.

Head of Development at Wargaming St. Petersburg, Daniil Volkov, highlighted in the press release sent out the differences between Legends and its PC counterpart, “We have introduced a substantial number of console-exclusive features to World of Warships: Legends, which we hope will add new dimensions to the series, whilst preserving the core gameplay that players know and love.” 

The Early Access for World of Warships: Legends will launch on 16 April with support for HDR, with full 4K support coming later on in the year for both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
