We’re now officially a month away from the release of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. With the game now having gone gold, delays are extremely unlikely and we really are in the final home stretch. After checking the game out earlier this year, we got a glimpse of some of the visual updates, and now EA have released a bunch of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition comparison screenshots to give you another look at the differences.
As you can see from the screenshots below, there’s been some pretty sizeable updates to how the game looks. We’ve got updated textures, models, lighting and props that have been added. One of the most striking changes in the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition comparison screenshots is the update to the game’s lighting, which has made a number of the series darker environments much easier to look at and parse. There’s also a couple of looks at specific characters, such as Liara, showing off the technical improvements made to their models.
