Bugsnax Coming To PlayStation Plus On PS5

October 29, 2020

Bugsnax seems to have taken the world by storm since it’s announcement back in June. A puzzle/monster capture game from Young Horses, the developers of October, Bugsnax looks to be a colourful witty adventure. Now, it’s been confirmed that Bugsnax will be the first ever PS5 game you can download for free as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription.

Specifically, only the PS5 version of Bugsnax will be a PlayStation Plus freebie this month, with the PS4 version remaining as a purchase only title. That doesn’t mean that PS4 gamers are left out this month though, with two games coming to PlayStation Plus for them.

PS4 gamers will be able to download Australian indie darling Hollow Knight, a fantastic metroidvania that was kickstarted back in 2014. You’ll also get your hands on Monolith’s Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the sequel to the breakout hit Shadow of Mordor. The game was another solid entry into the series, although microtransactions were patched out and the game rebalanced after much controversy at launch due to the grind required to complete the game.

As you can see there’s plenty of games dropping on PlayStation Plus this month for those of you with a subscription to the service. Here’s hoping we continue to get plenty of quality games as we get deeper into the next generation.
