Bravely Default II Arriving In February

October 29, 2020

If you’re a fan of Square Enix RPGs and you owned a Nintendo 3DS, you’ve probably heard of or played Bravely Default before. The turn-based RPG was a throwback to Square RPGs of old and a surprise hit at the time. After a somewhat lacklustre sequel, the IP disappeared and has remained dormant until Bravely Default II was announced for Nintendo Switch earlier this. Now, after original being announced as a 2020 game, we have confirmation that the game will launch on February 26, 2021.

Along with the release date announcement and trailer came confirmation of a number of changes that have been made to the game based on feedback from the Bravely Default II that was available earlier this year. There’s now three difficulty modes (Casual, Normal and Hard), party members turn orders are displayed, it’s possible to skip battle intro animations, enemy movement speeds have been altered and a whole lot more. Similar to Octopath Traveller before it, Square Enix have seemingly done a great job taking on feedback and tweaking the game. If you want to see all of the changes, check out the feedback trailer below.

Bravely Default II releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch on February 26, 2021. For more information, check the official website.
