That’s right, after years of rumours and anticipation, Blizzard have taken to the stafe at Blizzcon 2018 to announce that Warcraft III is coming back in the form of Warcraft III: Reforged. Both the original game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion The Frozen Throne are included in the remaster.

A full remake of the original game, Warcraft III: Reforged includes all new animations and character models, bringing the 2002 classic into the modern day. Layered on top of that, you’ll also find a range of modern matchmaking and social features, truly bringing the game up to made with advances in video games.

Warcraft III: Reforged releases for PC in 2019 and can be prepurchased now at $44.95 for the standard version and $59.95 for the Spoils of War edition which comes with a Meat Wagon mount for World of Warcraft, the Third War cardback for Hearthstone, special in-game skins and some more unannounced goodies for other Blizzard games.
