Biomutant World Trailer Shows Peaceful Exploration

April 23, 2021

EXPERIMENT 101 and THQ Nordic have today revealed the Biomutant World Trailer showcasing some of the serene locations you’ll be able to explore when the game launches next month.

Not only are there plenty of locations on show in the trailer, but there are also plenty of modes of transport with everything from robotic animals to a walking hand. The Biomutant World Trailer has an eerie silence about it, but the developers have assured us this was intentional to show fans just how peaceful the game can be when you’re not in combat.

Rocket Chainsaw has been following the development of Biomutant since it was announced. Check out our coverage of the combat trailer here.

Pre-orders of Biomutant are also now available, with fans being rewarded by the Mercenary class DLC, a unique combination of perks, in addition to the full game (for digital and Collector’s Edition pre-orders only).

Watch the official Biomutant World Trailer below:

Everything you hear and see in this trailer was captured in game: the music, the footage, everything. No artificial flavoring of any kind.

Why is there no action? Because we covered that in the Combat Trailer, go check it out. It’s pretty good, too!

And why is it so… quiet… and positive? Because there are too many fast-paced, dark and gritty trailers in this world anyway. We are pretty upbeat people and Biomutant is a colorful game. So zip it and enjoy.

Biomutant launches on May 25, 2021 and it is expected to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. We’ve reached out to THQ for information about next-gen updates for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, so stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw to keep updated.
