Below delayed indefinitely

August 19, 2016

Developer Capybara has announced that Below has been delayed.

The company has cited that they while they have a working product they still need some time to bring it up to their studio’s high standards, and as such they will be delaying Below indefinitely.

Instead of giving you a new, loose release window, we will be going dark while we take the time that we need to complete Below without compromise. The next time you see a major Below update, that means our game has a firm release date, which we’ll share.

Below is an adventure game played from a top-down perspective. In the game players control a tiny warrior who is exploring an uncharted island, with their ultimate goal being to survive its hazards and inhabitants. Below was announced at Microsoft’s E3 2013 press conference and was scheduled to be released by the end of August this year on Xbox One and PC.
