Bayonetta Comes To Steam in 4K

After promises to port more of their games to PC, SEGA have finally made good on their promise and have released Bayonetta on Steam overnight. The critically acclaimed and cult classic character action game from Platinum Games originally released for only the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when it came out in 2010.

While the port comes 7 years after the game’s original release, SEGA have put in some work to bring the game up to today’s standards as much as possible. This includes unlocked resolutions up to 3840 x 2160, which will also autodetect your monitor’s natural resolution to begin down-sampling, updated textures, real time shadows and lighting effects. The game is locked to 60fps at its highest, which may cause some frustration for some PC gamers. Overall, a large amount of work has gone into updating the game to today’s standards.

Bayonetta is available for $19.99 USD right now on Steam.
