Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone Revealed

October 15, 2021

EA and DICE today revealed Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone, the second game mode in the new Battlefield game set to launch in just a little over a month.

The new game mode looks like it will require more coordination and tactics as it puts players in an ‘every squad for themselves’ scenario. Hazard Zone is all about retrieving harddrives from airdrops and then evacuating with the drive in tact. This leads to an effective ‘hazard zone’ where all squads will be moving towards one area of the map in a showdown before attempting to withdraw from the mayhem.

Rocket Chainsaw recently went hands-on with a closed VIP beta of Battlefield 2042 which you can read more about here.
