Battlefield 1 Gallipoli Maps Landing in December

October 23, 2017

DICE has today confirmed that the third of four Battlefield 1 DLC map packs titled Turning Tides will launch in December 2017 and January 2018 across all platforms. The new Turning Tides expansion includes never before played Battlefield 1 Gallipoli gameplay, pitting British allied forces against the Ottoman Empire and German naval fleet.

The new DLC will include 4 new maps, 6 new weapons, a new playable British Empire: Royal Marines, and more, and will be a fantastic new way to reflect on a significant part of Australian history. At this stage it is unclear if ANZACs will be playable, however we can confirm that the British med kit model will feature an ANZAC model in the new maps.

Battlefield 1 Galipoli

Storm the beaches of the Gallipoli peninsula with the British forces or defend the Ottoman Empire’s fortifications in the new map called Cape Helles. Master the land, air, and sea interplay to win the defining battles.

Throw yourself into the British assault on the Gallipoli peninsula of 1915 in an intense, fast, and infantry-focused setting in the new map called Achi Baba. Take part of a treacherous push for a prominent hilltop position.

New map Heligoland Bight will feature The Great War at sea. Engage in an epic naval clash as the British Empire Royal Marines and German Navy pit dreadnoughts, destroyers, and aircraft against each other while infantry troops fight by the iconic red cliffs of Rocky Cove.

Lastly, Zeebrugge will have you taking part in the daring British raid on the Belgian port of Bruges-Zeebrugge with rough waves and a vast German mole as backdrop. Fight at sea, in the air, and in close-quarter infantry environments.
