WoW Battle for Azeroth Release Date Revealed

April 6, 2018

Blizzard has today revealed the next expansion for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth release date. The expansion will launch on August 14, 2018 giving players, in typical World of Warcraft fashion, almost a full two years since the previous expansion Legion.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth will give players the ability to level to 120, while offering 10 new instances, and the first raid will be available shortly after launch. Players of the new expansion will receive a necklace artefact called the Heart of Azeroth which will get stronger the more you play. Allied races will also add a new way to play the game, while Warfronts will introduce a new style of 20 player PvE content.

A new age of warfare between the Horde and the Alliance is here. Declare your allegiance in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth beginning August 14. As rivalries of the past arise once more, a powerful new resource emerges—and whoever lays claim to it could shape the future of all who make Azeroth their home.

Azeroth paid a terrible price to end the apocalyptic march of the Legion’s crusade—but even as the world’s wounds are tended, it is the shattered trust between the Alliance and Horde that may prove hardest to mend. As this age-old conflict reignites, join your allies and champion your faction’s cause—Azeroth’s future will be forged in fire.

As stated, the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth release date is August 14, 2018 and will be available on Windows PC and Mac. Head to the official World of Warcraft website for more information here.
