First Assassin’s Creed Origins Expansion Out Next Week

Ubisoft has today confirmed the timeline of DLC pack drops for 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins. The two DLC packs will launch in the first quarter of 2018, with the first Origins expansion coming next week.

The first Assassin’s Creed Origins expansion, named The Hidden Ones, will focus on building the Brotherhood and will increase the level cap from 40 to 45. This expansion will arrive on Tuesday, January 23.

The second Assassin’s Creed Origins expansion is launching on March 6 and is called The Curse of The Pharaohs. A curse plagues the lands of Thebes, and as you level all the way up to 55 expect to encounter pharaohs of both friend and foe varieties, as well as new exotic beasts.

Both expansions are included in the season pass which includes some bonuses, however you will also be able to buy them separately as each one releases.

Lastly, Ubisoft also revealed that the Discovery Tour mode for Assassin’s Creed Origins will launch on February 20, 2018. Rocket Chainsaw detailed what to expect in the new non-combat Discovery Tour mode, which you can read about here.

Rocket Chainsaw reviewed Assassin’s Creed Origins when it launched, giving it 4 stars and saying it “offers evolved gameplay mechanics such as Senu replacing the trademark Eagle Vision, and the revamped and engaging combat system.
