Assassin’s Creed movie trailer released

Ubisoft Motion Pictures and 20th Century Fox premiered the first trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The film is directed by Australian Snowtown-helmer Justin Kurzel and stars Michael Fassbender. Interestingly, the trailer suggests the Animus may not be the bed/chair device we’ve come to know in the games. Instead, it appears the main character will be connected to a mechanical arm-like device that allows them to reenact movements while reliving their genetic memories as an Assassin.

The Assassin’s Creed movie is due out on December 21, 2016. You can watch the trailer below.
