More Dino News With Ark Park Release Date

February 8, 2018

Back in July 2017, Rocket Chainsaw covered the official reveal of Ark Park, a Jurassic themed virtual reality game set in the world and engine of Ark: Survival Evolved. We can now confirm that Ark Park will launch on March 22, 2018 on PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift.

Peacock Games has been busy working on the game, with its original launch window being 2017. Today they have also revealed there will be two versions of Ark Park. Check out the official comment below:

Two editions will be available at launch: standard and deluxe. The latter includes extra outfits – along with an exclusive dinosaur mount!

ARK Park takes the world of ARK: Survival Evolved into a wonderful and haunting new direction. It embraces virtual reality while offering players the tight gameplay mechanics from its predecessor. We’re thrilled to deliver Snail Games’ first VR title to our fans in March – and we couldn’t be more pleased with the team’s hard work throughout the development of ARK Park,” said Snail Games VP Tianqi Wu.

Now that we know the Ark Park release date we can now prepare for our adventure into the Jurassic world. Don’t forget, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom is due to release in cinemas on June 7, 2018 which gives us plenty of time to practice in virtual reality before seeing the new flick.

Along with the Ark Park release date, we also have a few screenshots to share. The two above, and the three below. Enjoy!
