April 2021 Nintendo Indie World Showcase Wrap Up

April 15, 2021

Another month, another showcase of games. Finally, it’s beginning to feel like game announcements are back to being a normal, regular thing we can expect. This time, Nintendo have treated us to another Indie World Showcase. Rife with new announcements, shadowdrops and updates, there was plenty for everyone during the show.

In particular, there were some absolute highlights for indie game lovers. Night School Studio is back with OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, a follow up set five years after the original OXENFREE. OlliOlli is also returning with OlliOlli World, complete with a campaign. Annapurna Interactive is continuing their support of the Switch, with both Hindsight and Last Stop coming to the platform this year. We also got confirmation that FEZ, The Longing and There is No Game: Wrong Dimension are available right now.

If you were looking for something a little bigger from the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, Konami showed up to reveal GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon. We also got a glimpse at THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake, which will release later this year.
