With the Australian Open well underway in Melbourne, Australia, Big Ant Studios has just released the official AO Tennis launch trailer to coincide with the video game which launched this week.

Big Ant Studios, who are known for developing sports games such as Rugby League Live, Ashes Cricket and AFL Live are a Melbourne based studio which makes it perfect for them to be developing this Melbourne based Grand Slam tennis game.

The new trailer shows how you can re-create yourself in-game to compete in tennis tournaments around the world, particularly the Australian Open. Check out the official AO Tennis launch trailer below:

The AO Tennis launch had some minor controversy late last week when the street date broke in retail outlets. The game was purchasable from stores however when you got home and tried to play it, it needed a day 1 patch which was not yet released. Big Ant Studios has now confirmed the critical day 1 patch includes an array of players added to the roster, which we’ve got below:

AO Tennis is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Australia and New Zealand, while a global edition and Steam edition on Windows PC will be available later in 2018.
