ANNO History Collection Announced

May 27, 2020

If you’re unfamiliar with the ANNO franchise from Ubisoft, it’s a real-time strategy city-building game. Think Civilization, but focused in on singular eras of history (or the future) and with specific scenarios you can play through. The series has been around since 1998 when the first ANNO game ANNO 1602 released, with the game spawning a massive number of sequels over the year. For those of you have missed out on some of those original releases or just want to go back and replay them once again, Ubisoft has announced the ANNO History Collection.

The ANNO History Collections brings together the first four ANNO games (ANNO 1602, ANNO 1503, ANNO 1701 and ANNO 1404), along with their expansions into one single package. All games in the package have been updated and optimised to run on current PC hardware, removing any of the finnicky nature that can come with running old games on newer generations of PC hardware. You’ll get updated 4K graphics, new multiplayer features, multiscreen support, compatibility with your original save games and more in this new package.

ANNO History Collection releases exclusively for PC on June 25th for AUD $59.95 and is available for preorder today, with all games also being purchasable individually.
