UPDATE: Nintendo Australia has confirmed the console will be released in Australia on 20th March for a RRP of AU$469.95. The carry case and screen protector will be released on the same day.

Nintendo of America has announced an Animal Crossing themed Nintendo Switch console will be released on 13th March 2020 in the US.

The console features a custom Animal Crossing print on the back of the system, light green and light blue Joycon controllers and a dock with imagery of Tom Nook and his children. Also available separately will be an Animal Crossing: New Horizons Aloha Edition carry case and screen protector.

There is currently no confirmation if the system will launch in Australia, but we’ll update this article if a local release is announced. Until then, check out the amazing photos of the system below:
