Amazon Australia Looks To Be Gearing Up For PS5 Game Preorders

September 9, 2020

With a new generation of consoles comes a brand new slew of games to pick up and a whole load of uncertainty. There’s been more uncertainty than ever this time around, as we’ve rolled our way through a global pandemic, news and announcements for video games has largely dried up. We got system specs earlier in the year, our first look at PS5 games in July and since then Sony have gone cold. Now it looks like Amazon Australia might be gearing up for PS5 game preorders, with a whole bunch of game listings being updates with box arts and screenshots.

Among these games is one that has already been confirmed for launch in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, along with a slew of as yet undated games. The listing for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales now features box art that wasn’t present when the listing initially went live months ago. We’ve also got PS5 game box art for Returnal, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Destruction All-Stars and Demon’s Souls. The Demon’s Souls box art even goes one step further, revealing that the game has received an MA15+ rating in Australia, certainly implying that the game will be releasing in the very near future. In other words, expect Demon’s Souls close to launch, if not on launch day.

We’re still awaiting official confirmation on details from PlayStation, but for the moment, check out all of the PS5 game box arts that have shown up on Amazon Australia so far although a couple of them are definitely placeholders, or head on over to our summary of all the PS5 exclusive games we know about so far.
