27-year-old Eddie Williams wins the World of Tanks PC Tank Pull

March 19, 2018

Eddie Williams, 27, from Central Coast, New South Wales, has walked away with a potential Guiness World Record for “Fastest time to pull a tank over 10 metres”.  The event was part of last weekend’s Arnold Pro Strongman Australia, sponsored by World of Tanks, where eleven of the world’s strongest men competed to pull an eight-tonne FV102 Striker tank.

In front of a huge crowd, including a very impressed-looking Arnold Schwarzenegger, Eddie pulled the Striker 10 metres in 36.65 seconds, with American Trey Mitchell coming second in 46.16 seconds.

“I really wanted it. Now I can say that I have won the first-ever tank pull event in the world,” said Eddie.

The event was in celebration of World of Tanks 1.0, the biggest update the game has received since its initial launch, which is being released later this month.
