Nintendo is on the ball. Not only have they just revealed their new console Nintendo Switch, they have also just released two brand new trailers for the upcoming AAA game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. With a release date of March 2017 placed on Nintendo Switch, we can now all but confirm/assume that Breath of the Wild will launch alongside the console early next year.

The first trailer takes a look at exploration, as you see Link traveling around the world map, taking in different areas such as temples, forests, and even snowboarding on his shield. Swimming, sailing, gliding and more, Breath of the Wild is shaping up to be the must-have game for the Nintendo Switch launch, and let’s not forget Nintendo Wii U owners.

The second trailer takes a look at combat, and all the different ways Link can engage all the different kinds of enemies you’ll find in Breath of the Wild. Check out how Link makes an entire cave explode with an exploding arrow, or how he pushes a boulder down on some unsuspecting foes. There’s so much more to Breath of the Wild than any previous Zelda title, we’re very excited to see it all in action early next year.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch on the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo Switch in 2017.
