The latest game in 5th Cell’s Scribblenauts series, Scribblenauts Unlimited, is coming soon for PC, as well as Nintendo ‘s Wii U and 3DS. However, 5th Cell have just revealed that the Wii U version features a nice little bonus, in the form of cameos from both Mario and Zelda characters. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Link, Zelda, Epona and a Goron will be joining the game’s protagonist, Maxwell. A bunch of Nintendo themed items will also appear exclusively in the Wii U version. In addition to releasing the above character art, 5th Cell said:

Players will delight in producing fantastical and sometimes hilarious interactions between the Mario and Legend of Zelda characters and objects, alongside everyone’s favorite word-wielding Scribblenauts adventurer, Maxwell. Discovered Nintendo characters and objects will behave in the fun and fantastical ways they do in their respective game worlds.

According to Warner Bros though, players won’t be able to use any of the game’s adjectives on Nintendo related objects. So, no purple gorons, unfortunately.
