Dontnod’s upcoming action RPG Vampyr has received a brand new trailer as we come closer to its release later this year. Vampyr has you take control of Dr Jonathan Reid, a doctor recently turned into a vampire who battles to reconcile his Hippocratic oath and his new need for blood. His story takes place in 1918 London and your actions as Dr Reid will dictate the landscape of the game and alter the actions of the people within London.

Each death by your hand will have affects on the world and the new ‘The Darkness Within’ trailer shows a few of London’s citizens and tells you who they are, their back stories and daily lives. These are the people whose lives are in your hands, with their survival or death ultimately being decided by you.

Vampyr is scheduled to release of PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
