Ubisoft has revealed the next game in the Far Cry franchise will be Far Cry Primal.

The game is set in 10,000 B.C. and follows the adventures of a hunter named Takker, who is the last survivor of his hunting group. In the game Takker will need to survive the wilds of Oros by hunting, crafting tools and weapons, mastering fire and “[rising] above extinction”.

Far Cry Primal will feature large prehistoric animals including woolly mammoths and sabre tooth tigers. Takker will also come into contact with other characters who will assist him in taming the wild.

Far Cry Primal is slated to be released worldwide on February 23, 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. You can check out the official reveal trailer below:
