Telltale has announced that the first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series, titled Realm of Shadows, will be available to download from 2nd August this year.

To accompany the announcement, the first gameplay trailer was released showcasing the likes of Alfred, Harvey Dent, Catwoman, Carmine Falcone and of course, the Caped Crusader himself. The game is set a few years after Bruce Wayne decides to become Batman, with players having the opportunity to play missions as both personas.

Also announced was a retail version of the game is coming to stores on September 14. The disc will act as a season pass, only containing episode 1 but allowing players to download future episodes and updates.

Batman: The Telltale Series will be released on PC, Mac, Android, iOS, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
