Square Enix have let slip the dogs of war, and announced release details for their latest open-world triad warfare game, Sleeping Dogs.

The game will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on 16 August 2012, in Australia and New Zealand.

Alongside the regular edition, Aussies and Kiwis will be getting a special limited edition pack which includes:

• ‘Georges St. Pierre (GSP)’ content, consisting of GSP’s signature ‘flying punch’ which increases grappling and throwing damage, and an exclusive GSP outfit including t-shirts, headband and shorts.
• ‘Police Protection’ content, consisting of the ‘High Speed’ mission, a HK Police SWAT outfit, SWAT assault rifle and SWAT police vehicle.
• ‘Martial Arts’ content – consisting of the ‘Shaolin Showdown’ mission, a Shaolin Warrior outfit that increases striking damage, bonus Triad XP points and a Wing Chun decoration for your safehouse, with a temporary combat buff.
