Nintendo fans have rejoiced at the news that Lucas would be re-appearing in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS. Finally confirming a release date, the game’s director Masahiro Sakurai posted on Miiverse that the Lucas DLC will be rolling out from Sunday, June 14th. Due to time differences, Aussies can expect it at approx. 1am on June 15th, AEST.

Lucas is expected to be the same price as the Mewtwo DLC. Mewtwo is currently AU$5.20 to unlock in one version of the game or AU$6.50 to unlock in both versions.

The Lucas update will also include Splatoon costumes for Mii Fighters, and a new Miiverse stage. You may recall the Miiverse stage was shown in the promotional Super Smash Bros 50-Fact Extravaganza video. The stage will have Miiverse messages displayed that will cheer-on characters appearing in the stage.
