In some great news for platforming and PS3 fans, Insomniac Games are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their beloved Ratchet & Clank series by announcing a brand-new video game in the series: Ratchet & Clank: QForce (to be known in other territories as Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault).

While details at this stage for the local release aren’t entirely fleshed out, Insomniac promises that QForce will take its cues from the classic feel, controls and camera functions of past Ratchet & Clank titles. On top of this, an online mode has been touted for multiplayer action.

The last Ratchet & Clank game, All 4 One, was met with very mixed reviews, so let’s hope that QForce will be a return to form for the Ratchet & Clank we know and enjoy whenever the urge to platform takes over us. You can find a render of the cover art in the attached feature image for this article.
