PS Plus May 2016 Freebies Revealed

Sony has announced the PS Plus freebies for May 2016.

PS4 players will be able to try their hand at dictatorship with the strategy game Tropico 5. In the game players assume the role of El Presidente and must manage their very own island. This includes building farms to harvest food, have education facilities and build various other amenities to benefit the population of the island.

Also available for PS4 players is Table Top Racing: World Tour and Switch Galaxy Ultra. Table Top Racing: World Tour is a party/arcade racer that features toy cars and “makeshift” racecourses. There is a single-player mode and online multiplayer – watch out for power-ups along the racecourse which might just give you the advantage on the track.

Switch Galaxy Ultra is a fast paced, indie sci-fi arcade racer where players must weave past obstacles on a track. Unlike other racing games, the track consists of only a few narrow lanes so you’re focusing on choosing either left, right or middle, etc, rather than freely maneuvering your vehicle.

PS3 gamers are treated to the likes of Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and LocoRoco Cocoreccho. Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is an old school 2.5D platformer. Players now have the ability to jump, a first for the series if you can believe it, and use their trusty hookshot to navigate through levels.

LocoRoco Cocoreccho was the first (and only) game in the LocoRoco series to be released on a home console. It’s a puzzle game where players control a butterfly that guides the LocoRoco to the goal at the end of the level. Initially you will only start with one LocoRoco, but if you bump into others you will wake them up and get them to join your group.

Last but not least is God of War: Ghost of Sparta for the PSP and PS Vita. The game is set after the events of the original God of War and follows Kratos as he sets out to explore his past. Expect plenty of over the top action, combos and Ancient Greek gods.
